What we collect
Nothing. RoZur stores all data locally in chrome.storage — your settings, wishlist, playtime, and any local caches never leave your browser. We don't run analytics servers, we don't have a database, we don't collect telemetry.
What network requests we make
RoZur makes requests from your browser to:
- roblox.com APIs — using your existing browser session, for read-only data (catalog, inventory, presence, trades). Never automates trades or purchases.
- rolimons.com — public limiteds feed for prices/demand/trend.
- gumroad.com — only when you activate a Plus/Pro license, to verify the license key.
- External image hosts (giphy.com, pinterest.com, imgur.com, tenor.com) — only to fetch user-supplied background images. No scanning of unrelated pages.
Permissions explained
- storage — to save your settings locally.
- alarms — to schedule polling for playtime and price drops.
- notifications — to alert you on price drops or pinned friends going online.
- contextMenus — right-click "Track this item" on catalog pages.
- scripting — to inject the painter that draws your custom background on roblox.com.
- <all_urls> — required so the service worker can download user-supplied background GIFs (Pinterest, Giphy, etc.) and inline them as data URIs to bypass roblox.com's CSP. RoZur never scans pages outside the listed domains.
Third parties
If you subscribe to Plus or Pro, payment is processed by Gumroad — see their privacy policy. We only receive a license key from them; we never see your payment details.
